While there were plenty of Emmys “attendees” who served up fashion from home, a not-insignificant number of folks, including several nominees, stuck to loungewear looks for the evening, as predicted. Among these, only a handful managed to wield their pajamas in a chic manner and among those, only Julia Garner managed to serve up a little Daisy Buchanan realness while staying in full comfort.
Hey, if a girl can snag herself some Chanel silk pajamas and Chanel jewelry for the night, she’d be crazy not to indulge a little. While we can’t say the pale champagne color looked all that great onscreen, under less than optimal lighting conditions, she gets points for working a truly unique and memorable look while straddling comfort and glamour easily. Definitely the kind of ensemble that begs for buckets of chilled Champagne and a roaring fireplace.
