Miss Olivia isn’t exactly a big fan of celebrity fashion blogs, but on the off-chance she’s reading this, have no fear, Livs! We’re not here to criticize – especially since you heeded our call to all celebrities; a call which we shall now repeat on the even more off chance that any of you are reading this (although we know your PR and stylist peeps are): If you want to put on some pretty borrowed fashion and pose for pictures in your light-filled and photogenic homes, we would be so grateful for the effort that we’d happily lavish attention on you and not even be bitches about it.

The face is beat, the hair is did, and the dress is surprisingly cute. We say “surprisingly” because in those long ago days in The Before Times, we were not exactly known for loving the super-ruffly, faux-vintage, prairie-style dress trend. This strikes us another example of something working precisely because the setting is so low-key and requires no travel. When we picture this with a coordinated bag and pair of shoes, it loses a lot of its appeal. To be fair, this is a little pricey for a barefoot housedress, but it really works well when you literally strip away everything that could distract from it. Is it the right style for a little impromptu katana-wielding session? We’re gonna say yes. The rules are suspended for the duration. She looks adorable.
