Our first impulse was to give Miss Reese some credit for keeping her style game tight even though she’s not up for any major awards right now. She was here on this night to present an award to her pal Laura Dern and we have to say, we’re taken with her choice here:

That is the cutest little white-on-black floral frock we ever did see. And further kudos to her for having the good sense to remove the juvenile waist bow. It’s a look that feels very much in Reese’s southern country club aesthetic while having a sort of stark New York kind of glam to it. We have issues, howevs, and we’re throwing them out to you for discussion and debate. Why? Because you need five minutes of sheer frivolity to take you out of your day and/or your head. Doctor’s orders.

Anyway: The scalloped hem and the off-white shoes. Deal-breakers? Brilliant accents? Those are your choices because if we can’t get binary about a black-and-white dress, then when can we? In other words:
