It’s a half-finished ballgown skirt tacked onto a minidress and yet we still feel like she bumped up the sophistication level for herself. Yes, that’s a backhanded compliment, in case you were wondering.

Credit where it’s due: he stepped it up. We don’t actually mind the kicks but we don’t think the pants are fitting him correctly.
Dua Lipa in Alexander Wang
It’s Posh Spice cosplay. We’re not sure why, but we have to salute the results. We realize that ’90s styles are cycling back, but this feels way too literal.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton in Dolce&Gabbana
Again, credit where it’s due: he’s dressed and groomed appropriately for the occasion. And we suspect it takes some effort to get him to this point. She’s okay we guess, but she sure could have used some color. Worse, it comes off like one of Ariana Grande’s throwaways.
Heidi Klum in Dundas
Why, Miss Heidi. So generic and demure. Where’s the gal who loved herself some tight, short and shiny?
Kevin Jonas (in Ermenegildo Zegna XXX) and Danielle Jonas (in J’Aton Couture)
We’re always amazed at what Other Jonas manages to do to high-end fashion. That is a Zegna tuxedo jacket with freaking birds all over it, paired with what looks like a gold metallic tank top, and he still manages to recede into the background. She’s not doing much better, but at least she has the excuse that she’s wearing a forgettable dress.
Maggie Rogers in Chanel
We thought this was super-cute and perfectly suited to her; just the right balance of boho and glam. The water bottle and carrier are surprisingly chic.
Rosalia in Alexander Wang
We might have gotten on board with that much red leather, but when we got to the fringe, our resolve weakened. And when we got to the plastic sandals, we frantically pulled the ripcord to get off this bus.
