Empress Cynthia I comes out in her usual regal style.
She’s got such a consistent knack for choosing and wearing these sorts of huge gowns with dramatic details, such a clearly expressed fondness for big-ass royalty-inspired wear, that we simply had to give her a title of some sort. And since we long ago named Helen Mirren our queen, we had no choice but to name Cynthia an Empress. She really should look into tiaras more. We suspect she’d look great in them.
Anyway, we suppose there’s an argument that this is way too grandiose or that the print looks way too much like the floor of a grand hotel lobby. Maybe the colors don’t light you on fire or you wish the volume was toned down a little. We, for our parts, love this. But we’d be interested in hearing an opposing point of view. Have at it.
