Mrs. Cathy is a very busy Duchess lately! We realize an opener like that is going to lead to all sorts of speculation about why that’s the case, given the family drama lately. We tend to think she’s stepped up her game more in response to the Andrew mess than the Sussex one, mostly because these appearances are mapped out well ahead of time. But it does tend to make for a string of really good press for the Cambridges, helped along by her commitment to keeping things tightly flawless.
She looks great, but she’s definitely keeping things low-key this week, which makes it all the stranger that she’d opt for Dolce & Gabbana, given their semi-recent string of PR scandals. The world of fashion has a very short memory.
