Miss Alison’s new project is getting great Sundance buzz and she stepped out in pure Sundance style to receive accolades and strut a little. And by “pure Sundance style,” we mean…
… an evening gown and a pair of boots, of course.
At this point, Sundance is kind of off in its own little world, from a style perspective. You’d think cold-weather settings for film festivals would inspire a lot of knitwear and sweater dresses and other forms of cozy fashion – plenty of which can be had from all the major fashion houses. But a lot of the time, you’ll see this: standard red carpet wear tricked out with cold-weather accessories. It’s like no one can even imagine dressing in something warm that also looks fabulous. At the very least, it should be a no-brainer that a sheer, sleeveless dress doesn’t make a whole lot of sense with snow boots.
This looks interestingly weird.
