Darling, Miss Jameela is here to serve you up a lewk that absolutely demands your attention.
And we’ve gotta say, we love it. There’s just enough of a hint of the ’80s to the look without it being referential or costume-y. Love the patterned tights. We figure the defined waist is an element that’s going to have its detractors, but we think it turns a basic suit into something sexy and modern. The only issue we have with the design is the length of the sleeves. We get that it’s a garment that plays with conventional ideas of proportion in classic styles, but off the runway, it just tends to look like the jacket’s a bit too big on her.
Still, this is a homerun of a look. She clearly loves to dress boldly and we haven’t always agreed with the results, but she and Law Roach really nailed this one.
