Because ATTENTION MUST BE PAID.
Chadwick Boseman in Dunhill
Stephan James in Etro
These two gentlemen TURNED THAT SHIT OUT.
Admittedly, neither ensemble is entirely to our tastes or preferences. Chadwick’s jacket looks a bit too kitchen-wallpaper to us and the bottom half of the look strikes us as too standard for such an eye-popping to half. Stephan’s suit is amazing and we’ll just go ahead and call it Stephan James-specific, because we’re pretty sure we’d absolutely hate that print and/or cut on almost any other wearer. It’s the very definition of a muddy-looking, unphotogenic design, but he’s got such a knack for making the unworkable look effortless that we almost don’t mind.
It’s all kind beside the point, however, because fashion nitpicks aside, they still look amazing and they should still be commended and applauded for making such off-the-beaten-path style choices. No banker’s suits here.
