In the midst of some royal press drama regarding her in-laws (which we will be getting to very quickly so hold your royal horses on that discussion), Mrs. Cathy stepped out looking stylishly serene in a surprisingly chic look.
We say surprising because her colors aren’t always this rich and she doesn’t always opt for such a flowy, relatively loose silhouette. Instead of a look that all about the tailoring (her usual), this is a look that’s all about the drape and color. It makes a nicely subtle change of pace. The earrings are gorgeous. Personally, we think a dress like this practically begs for sandals, but she’s a pump-loving kind of duchess and we know we’d never win that argument. Besides, she may be constitutionally forbidden from showing her toes, if our repeated viewings of The Crown have taught us anything.
Anyway, she looks great.
