Melissa breaks out the Marchesa for her big night, and both she and the brand served up a few surprises.
This is pretty great. It’s a very toned-down form of Marchesa, stripped of the frippery and floral explosions, but still offering an almost minimalist take on its old-fashioned romanticism. Melissa doesn’t always go for such tailored, waist-defined looks, but aside from the bib (which is admittedly kind of awful), this really looks great on her. Not sure we would’ve rec’d red pumps for this, but it’s not a dealbreaker. If we could edit, both the bib and the gigantic collar would go, though.
