Miss Lizzo is once again calling class to session so that she can demonstrate to you all three of the most important tenets of good style.
1. Be bold.
2. Make a statement.
And possibly most important of all …
3. Have some damn fun with it, girl.
But she’s also demonstrating something that’s very difficult to pull off effectively; something that can’t be quantified or taught.
4. Break rules.
We’re afraid we can’t give you a primer on how to break the rules of style while managing to still demonstrate good style. If we could devise such a thing, you wouldn’t really be breaking the rules, would you? You’d just be following a different set of them. All we can say is this: Miss Lizzo knows full well that the arbiters of good style would tell her to stay away from extreme silhouettes, body-con dresses with short skirts, wild prints, metallics and anything else you can describe about this look. And while it’s easy to portray her as some sort of bold style revolutionary, we doubt very much she dresses this way for any other reason but the most important reason of all: she loves it. And it more than shows.
