That is how you ruin a classic Chanel tweed suit. To be fair, it would seem that Uncle Karl’s runway stylist was the one to come up with the answer first. Priyanka’s just doing what the runway tells her. Still, this makes one of the best illustrations yet of our style rule for the celebrity set: Don’t opt for the runway styling. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, items are put together for the runway solely to produce an unforgettable image and not to produce a chic or wearable look. Of course, there’s no garment that could make clear plastic boots come off correct. No matter what you pair them with, they’re still sweaty little fishbowls for your visibly squished feet.
