All the respect in the world for this one. She really loves switching up her fashion depending on what she’s promoting. Gone are the Star Wars sci-fi dresses and the Black Panther Afro-Futurism. Miss Woman’s got a scary-as-shit movie to promote (and accompanying Oscar buzz to fan), so she’s getting down to the business of somehow looking spectacular and also making your blood run cold. And the great thing is, this is sort of an update on the Elvira/Vampirella/Dracula’s Daughter idea of a horrifying woman being hypnotically beautiful; an iconic concept that was almost always rendered in pale white women.
Of course, all the heavy lifting is being done by the gorgeous makeup job and those stunning contacts. The dress is fabulous, but aside from it being red and shiny, the rest almost doesn’t matter. Girlfriend is serving FACE.
