Hey, remember that time when we told you how the CDGA Awards tends to bring out some bold choices for the stars in attendance? That was a fun thought, right? Well here comes the downside:
Newp.
No, Ma’am.
Sonequa? No.
It’s a no for us, is what we’re trying to say here.
Miss Woman, you are gorgeous, but you fell victim to the FMO dress. For Models Only – and even then, only for 90 seconds at a time under precise conditions, like a runway or a Vogue editorial. This is not an ensemble meant to be worn by non-professional dress-wearers out in any setting that could remotely be considered the real world. And admittedly, a Hollywood awards show barely qualifies in that respect. But for real: this is a dress that has maybe one good angle and should be viewed under controlled lighting and climate conditions. It looks kinda cool on the runway, totally disastrous on the red carpet.
