The lighting is terrible and he still can’t handle a camera without goofing it up a little, but we think a little bit of praise is in order here.

The suit’s a little blockier than we’d like but that’s not only the way suiting is trending at the moment, it’s a reflection of his style preferences. A lot of male stars work pretty hard to give you the impression they’re just a boots-and-jeans kind of guy, but with him, it’s no front. He’s not into fashion and he’s definitely not into dressing sexy. This is going to sound hellaciously backhanded, but if we had to define his style sweet spot, it’s Best-Dressed Dad at Sunday Services. An affable sort of straight-and-narrow that allows for a little color and personality to come through, but not a lot of fuss. In all honesty, there are several parts of this that we’d question, but we’re not gonna ding a boots guy for clown socks. He’s having as much fun with fashion as he can handle.
