That’s right, bitches! Can we all get a little queer in here? Because these two gentlemen showed up on Golden Globes night and threw down a rainbow-colored gauntlet to every other man in the place. Boys? You been served. Don’t come for the gays when they’re having a good night and formalwear is expected.

QUEEN OF THE GLOBES:
Lo’s Pick: Billy Porter in Randi Rahm Couture at the Golden Globe Awards
Lo’s Defense: I refuse to say a word in its defense. Please. It’s fucking fabulous.
T’s Pick: Ben Whishaw in Alexander McQueen at the Golden Globe Awards
T’s Defense: In the interests of offering a counterpoint, Ben stands here as an example of how to bring a little sparkly and queerness to your style while still walking a formal, chic, high-fashion look. You can tell he loves fashion, but he also likes to color inside the lines – with sparkle and whimsy, mind you. I think he’s doing a lighter, gayer take on the same thing Chadwick Boseman is doing to menswear. He’s opening it up and using it to express himself.
TWO QUEENS STAND BEFORE YOU. The time has come! For you to vote:
