The coat is stunning. We can’t say the dress is lighting us on fire, but we do like the effect of an all-red ensemble with a lot of volume to it. Taking this moment to once again repeat our prediction that comfort and coverage are the two big trends of celebrity ladystyle going forward. The pendulum is swinging hard away from the relentless panty dresses of the last few years.
Anyway, we love Cardinal Dern’s look, but that bag sticks out like a sore thumb. Speaking of which, Her Excellency is clearly feeling the hell (you’ll pardon the term) out of her manicure and we can’t say we blame her. That color looks great with the outfit.
