Miss Emily had herself a WEEKEND, kittens. Respect is owed to she who can go through this many high-fashion costume changes in 72 hours. She may not have hit the mark every time, but you’ve gotta give it to her for trying so hard.

We’re starting off with a no. The basic style of the dress is fine. Lovely, even. The neon airbrush effect? NO.

We love this. If we have any quibble, it might be that we’re not entirely sure this style is the best use of her time on the red carpet, but the suit itself is really great and the pink sandals, which didn’t work nearly as well with the previous dress, make a nice grace note to the look.

We haven’t liked a lot of the harsh yellows hitting the red carpets this weekend, but this marigold shade looks pretty great on her. The design’s a little too fussy for something that starts off kind of Cher, but we like the look for being formal, bold and a little different. We don’t think the hair’s quite up to it, though.

This is pretty and romantic, with a touch of sophistication and a pleasantly surprising pop of color. Very Mary Poppins, in other words.

We have to say, we were pretty disappointed with this one. So many other stars brought their A Games to the Globes this year. Not that we’re suggesting she didn’t put the effort in. It’s McQueen, after all. But this just doesn’t feel … up to the level somehow. We’re not crazy about the design on its own merits, but we’re also hung up on how it’s not quite hitting the appropriate-to-the-occasion make. The visible nude lining and the somewhat tattered effect of the hem don’t feel very formal.
