It’s our second “IN or OUT” post of the day, but we’ll think you agree the sheer volume of red carpetry, not to mention the discussable qualities of this look practically demand that opinions get stated and a consensus formed. Consider the following:
Okay first: That peachy pink is a lot to ask of your ol’ pals T Lo. It’s a color from which we tend to recoil in nose-wrinkling distaste more often than not. Even so, we’re kind of surprised by how good it looks on her. It’s the shape and style we keep going back and forth on. At first, we thought it had something of a sad sack quality to it, but the more we consider it, the more we think it’s of a piece with a certain trend toward coverage and comfort on the red carpet. And we have to admit, the silver embellishments really elevate it to a place of chicness and glamour. Basically, our “Pro” column is exactly equal to our “Con” column, which makes this the perfect frock to put up to a vote.
