It would appear that Miss Julia is in the midst of quite the style evolution, since she’s consistently demonstrating some very well-honed instincts. Yesterday she wowed us with the most colorful little day dress we ever did see and today, she’s showing us that she understands promotional style on a deep and profound level. … than a killer look and two ridiculously cute co-stars to pose with. The kids look absolutely perfect, but to be honest, we’re all about Julia’s turn here. She has seriously stepped up her game. People tend to get annoyed with the pretension of a coat slung on the shoulders like that and normally we’re right there with them. But a red carpet’s already a pretty openly fake setting and this really is a brilliant way to show off a dress while still remaining covered enough on a chilly December night. If she’d worn the coat like a normal person, the neckline and shape of the dress would be much more obscured. This way she gets the best of both worlds. It’s a really well-coordinated, perfectly styled look. And we think she may have stepped up her hair game too. Not that she ever ignored what she clearly considers her best feature, but the look has been freshened up and given a bit more care lately. She just look great.
