Miss Emily gets her second post and third featured outfit of the day because once you get on that Disney promo train, they are going to ride you like a work horse until you drop. Fortunately, there’s tons of money involved, which helps sweeten things somewhat. But because the Disney poledance is relentless and high-profile relative to the average film publicity tour, a star’s going to need herself tons and tons of outfits to wear. Miss Emily has made us happy by mostly sticking to the styles we recommended and hoped for, a succession of boldly colored retro-tinged looks with a hint of whimsy or romanticism to them. Perfect for this time of year, this type of film, and this character specifically.

But we think we’ve reached the point where she started running out of options:

Ooof. Sweetie, no. The shape of this thing is terrible and that blouse is something a 90-year-old socialite wears. And while we’re glad you clearly love those sandals, since we keep seeing them, they simply don’t look right with the kinds of December cold-weather ensembles you keep pairing with them.

We probably shouldn’t be so judgmental. It was awfully nice of her to take her accountant out for a night of glamour. He looks thrilled to be there.
