It has been an exceedingly draggy and queer day ’round these parts and for that we can only say thank you to Jesus for making it so. And while Ezra Miller may have sucked up most of the light and oxygen in the room at the Dior Homme show, we found ourselves struck by the stylishness of Miss Detox.
We have to say, it’s been a real pleasure watching the opportunities for featuring drag, genderqueer and transgender celebrities at high-end red carpet events explode in the past year. We hope the worlds of fashion and celebrity see this time as the beginning of a permanent opening up of the possibilities and not a trend to be followed and later dropped. Drag and transgender performers are conquering Broadway, film, and the runway in unprecedented numbers in the last year and we could not be more thrilled about that. It’s a good thing for the culture.
Anyway, bitch looks FABULOUS here.
