Now that Ariana and Pete are no more (a surprise to absolutely no one with a functioning central nervous system), Scarlett and Colin will have to bear the mantle of being the leading celebrity Saturday Night Live-based couple. If nothing else, they cut a more conservatively traditional, stable sort of celebrity coupledom in comparison to the dick-bragging, tattoo-getting, weekly-hair-color-change drama of … Petiana? Ariaete? See, this is how we all should’ve known it wasn’t going to last for those two. No snazzy portmanteau. Granted, that didn’t exactly help Brad and Angelina, but…

You know? We seem to have wandered off the subject. In our defense, it’s because – bluntness time – these two are kind of dull:

Having said that, They both look very pretty. Her look is a little traditional and a little basic in the non-slang sense of the word, but we honestly can’t see a thing wrong with it. It suits her, flatters her, fits her well and is well accessorized. We don’t even mind the pink eye makeup because it’s fairly common now and at least it works with this dress.

He is … very well groomed. What can we say? He didn’t get anything wrong, but he’s not exactly setting the red carpet on fire.
