Miss Rita served up another of her “Oh, RITA” moments when she missed her lip synch cue during the Macy’s parade yesterday. The world being what it is, folks made a thing out of it. We think anyone who can stand on a float in freezing temperatures and ride down the wind canyons of Manhattan should probably be given a little slack. And at least she got to copy someone else’s style while doing it! Oh, RITA.
It’s pretty darkly fabulous, but it strikes us as hellaciously wrong for this venue. And the fact that she’s on a Macy’s float sporting head-to-toe runway styling makes it seem like she didn’t quite grasp where she was. And while we don’t blame a gal for getting her high-fashion puffy coat action on for the cold weather, it’s impossible to look at a shiny black Moncler puffy coat without thinking of Ezra Miller, who came out in one of the most discussed red carpet looks of the year, just a couple weeks ago, sporting a Moncler puffy… thing. It’s not that she’s not allowed to wear something similar so soon after, but why would you want to?
