Darlings, in case you forgot that Lady Gaga is in serious consideration for an Oscar nomination, Steffi is here too remind you, by once again stepping out in her best Serious Actress drag. There’s just one thing that seems a bit off about it:

Her definition of Serious Actress Drag is to borrow one of Sofia Vergara’s dresses. Curious.

To be honest, we’re not feeling this one at all. We don’t mind the laser cut or the fact that it’s a bit revealing. That’s on-brand for her. But we hate the sparkly beige. This would look so much better to our eyes if it was in a jewel tone or even black, although we suppose the sheer effect would be thrown into high relief if the color was any darker, making for a very different effect. Our other whiny complaint is with the fit. It’s clearly cutting into her around the bust and back. And we’re usually pretty forgiving of her rather haphazard wig and hairpiece choices, but those braided spaghetti strands on her head look pretty silly. The seen-from-space color mismatch should’ve negated their use automatically.

Sorry, Steffi. We support your Oscar campaign, but this one’s a dud.
