Look, sweetie. We get it. For as long as we’ve been writing about celebrity fashion we’ve maintained that pop stars have free rein to go pretty damn goofy in their style choices — especially female pop stars, because they’re working under such a restrictive and exploitative system most of the time. A girl’s gotta get her attention-seeking on every now and then in this game.
But there’s a line, dear. It’s usually glowing pretty brightly so it’s easy to find and it’s clearly labeled for all to see and understand. It says “YOU DO YOU GIRL JUST DON’T WEAR UGLY SHIT” in several different languages. All of them, in fact.
