Reese and Ava try to get away from the Mommy-and-Me styling, but we can tell it’s a bit of an ongoing struggle for them.
The details may differ, but the shapes, color, necklines, lengths and shoes are all similar enough to make us wish one of them had opted for a little more color. Oddly enough, it’s Reese who’s being more adventurous with her fashion. And while we kind of love the audacity of this frock, it really is fairly tacky and surprisingly off-brand for her. We applaud her for trying to mix things up a bit and get away from the Country Club Chic styles that defined her for so long, but there’s just way too much going on here and none of it truly suits her, we’re afraid. Ava’s look is pretty enough, but it’s definitely not an attention-seeking one. You can tell which one of this duo is the movie star.
