Everyone Wants to Be… Diane Keaton at the “And So It Goes” Zurich Premiere

We feel safe in declaring that if you’re someone who almost singlehandedly created a look for women that became so popular and iconic it’s still referenced almost 40 years later (the Annie Hall look), you get a free pass for the rest of your life to wear what you want. After all, how many of us can say we’re actual style icons? And besides, it was that exact attitude of wearing what she wanted that created that whole look in the first place.

Having said that…

No, really. She looks adorable. Love the jacket. We don’t love the hat, but we recognize it as part of her signature look. The only real problem we have is with the socks but even then, we don’t feel the need to say much about it because the overall effect, when you put everything together, is just so very her. If that’s not the essence of true style, then what is?
