We feel the need to cleanse the palate after yesterday’s uncharacteristic Cate style debacle. She let us down, it’s true. A nation mourned. But it’s time to seek the light again, darlings.

Clearly, Cate got up this morning and said to herself, “Self, I’ve really been letting my fans – i.e., the world – down by allowing myself to be photographed looking like a pottery class teacher on laundry day. I think I owe them a little bit of street chic.”
And thus it came to pass. And thus she finally managed to make those tricky sandals work.
You are forgiven your sins, Cate. The world rejoices again.
That bag’s still pretty fugly, though.
