It’s mostly people at festivals or fashion shows, but we actually have some unjudged celebrity red carpet looks to get through before we can sound the bell that our shift is up for the week. Put your judgin’ pants on and let’s get to it.

The textile is giving awning, but this is actually pretty fabulous. Could’ve done without the spaghetti straps and boob bow, however.

Clearly, she was prioritizing comfort this week. We love a big, airy dress for hot weather, but this is the dreariest schmatta imaginable.

Kinda looks like a Las Vegas magic act.

A perfectly acceptable frock for wearing while standing on grass, but it’s not the most photogenic thing in the world.

This is just a straight-up not-great dress. The skirt looks heavy and the bust is cutting into her, but the issue overall is that it’s not all that great a design.
Calista Flockhart in Ashi Studio
It’s very Bewitched, which is not a bad thing at all. Her hair looks great.

Basic.
Eva Green in Armani
Fucking fabulous.
Fan Bingbing in Georges Hobeika
The gloves were definitely not needed. It’s a pretty spectacular dress, but the hem length is awkward and the sandals a bit heavy.
Fan Bingbing in Tony Ward
The design is stunning and she looks amazing, but we wish it weren’t rendered in that Barbie pink, which is looking kind of dated.
Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson
We could quibble with a few of the details (like the shoes) but they’re both giving “Summer in the city” chicness. Kind of love her dress.
John Krasinski
This feels a little tryhard (mostly because it’s too small on him and some of the details are a little on the precious side), but we can’t get mad at a guy working a summer dandy style.
Katie Holmes
An elegant, classic style rendered in the least photogenic color imaginable.
Maluma in American Sabotage
Hahahahahaha. Okay, buddy. That’s enough. You can go sit down now.
Matt Bomer
We can tell that all of these items are nice, but they don’t really coordinate well. The shirt is too boxy to be tucked into skinny pants and the dark leather belt/white suede loafer situation is a strange one.

Love the hair, but the dress is downright awful.

Can’t really argue with that. It’s summer-casual chic. The vest is a little too big for her, though.

Fabulous. We never have a problem with someone sporting a single earring but this one may work better as a set. It’s just too big to be worn alone.
Sadie Sink in Ashi Studio
The top seems a little unresolved, but the design is mostly cute. The pants, not so much. The tissue-box shoes: terrible.
