Trudie Styler and Sting at the 25th Annual Rainforest Fund Gala

Okay, it’s official. Florals for men are officially a thing this spring. On the red carpet, at least. We remain unconvinced that the men of the so-called real world stand ready to embrace this one.

We don’t know if we’d ever get away with one, but we appreciate all these boystars giving it a shot. We figure if there’s any one of their lot who can work a floral suit, it’s probably Sting. We certainly can’t think of a man in his age group who’d get away with this. We only wish it fit him a little better. Both the sleeves and the pants are too long on him. Still, when you’re saving the rainforest in your floral Gucci suit, if the worst we can say is that your sleeves are too long, you must be doing something right. Attaboy, Sting.
