This happens so often with lady stars and their stylists. They find a really cool dress with a wild print, like this one:
Aubrey Plaza attends the 2014 American Comedy Awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City in a Viktor & Rolf graffiti print gown from the Spring 2014 collection paired with Casadei white sandals and Ippolita jewelry.
And they style it totally poolside or cabana.
Her hair looks like she drip-dried after swimming for a couple of hours and those sandals look like the complimentary pair from her hotel room. It’s a shame, because the longer we look at that dress, the cooler we think it is. And it suits her to a T. But she needs a total rethink on the hair and makeup, at least one funky piece of jewelry, and a small bonfire to deal with that footwear.
We’d have gone in a funky/hip hop-inspired direction with this one, probably.
