Not that we’re suggesting she paid for all these items. She’s almost certainly taking part in that mutually agreed-upon act of temporary shoplifting known as the celebrity red carpet. But it’s such an overload of an outfit that it feels like your room mate just came home from an all-day shopping binge and, in a buzz of adrenaline and multiple lattes, insists on immediately putting on every single thing she bought to show you, down to the kind of garish lipstick (that you silently tell yourself you will not refer to out loud as “garish” when she asks your opinion). “Wow, the skirt’s cute! The vest is cute! The purse is really cute! And the sandals? Oh my god, so cute, right? Just don’t – haha – wear it all together. Haha! Seriously. Don’t.”
