Tessa Thompson has been making the rounds to promote Hedda, which provides us with a nice opportunity to let you know that we’ll be reviewing Hedda along with two other films that dropped on streaming in the last few weeks in today’s podcast. You have time to run and catch it now, so get to it. In the mean time, it’s time to be mean.

If anyone asked us ahead of time if it would be a good idea to sport that much red satin for a talk show appearance, we’re fairly certain the words NO, ARE, YOU, and CRAZY would fly out of our mouths, in roughly that order. And yet here she is, proving us wrong before we even had a chance to object. This looks fantastic on her, although the long skirt isn’t conducive to sitting this way, which is why the lining is so prominent. She really had to hike that thing up in order to cross her legs. She’s impressively unwrinkled and her hair looks great.

Well, that’s one way to make sure you can cross your legs when you sit down: wear a skirt made entirely out of fringe. We won’t be surprising any of our regulars when we say that we hate it. Fringe skirts almost never look good once you sit down. It just makes you look pantsless with some string in your lap.
