Much to say this week, darlings! We caught two very good documentaries over the weekend and since they’re both on streaming, we explain why you should catch them. The first is Mariska Hargitay’s surprisingly effective and emotional documentary about her own mother Jayne Mansfield, My Mom Jayne, which is also a film about the pain of not knowing the people you came from. The second, I’m Your Venus, is about the legendary ballroom figure and trans woman Venus Xtravaganza, and the attempts by her surviving family members to heal, ask for forgiveness, and do right by her memory. And finally, we bring Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in for a little bit of yelling again.
Thank you for listening, darlings!
