Those are some insanely pleated pants, but all of this works really well on him. Non-Jonathan Baileys are advised to be cautious when approaching these styles. The ’80s tried to prove otherwise, but they really aren’t for everyone. Granted, to anyone under 35, there’s no associations with prior styles, which is why fashion is relentlessly cyclical. It’s an industry that chases a youth dollar and uses that demographic to choose the trends. Anyway, he looks great and it doesn’t matter if Gen Xers got tired of this look. It’s another generation’s turn to get tired of it.
