A scrolldown surprise. We thought it best to allow you to have as pure a reaction as possible, rather than prepare you for the unexpected bottom half. We toyed with the idea of putting this one up to a vote, but the longer we look at it, the more we think that might be a little mean of us. But we’re going to daintily tip-toe out onto a limb and announce that we kinda… don’t hate this. Sure, the feathers are horrible and come pretty close to ruining it, and yeah, the textile looks like old upholstery, and we admit that the boots feel like a really odd choice for August and do nothing to sort of lighten or elevate an already heavy look. So stipulated. But the overall vibe is really fun and the shape is unexpected. If we had a magic fashion wand, we’d wish those feathers out of existence and put her in some gold sandals.
