Inventing Anna star Julia Garner has a rare style talent that’s perfectly suited to promoting her turn as stylish scam artist Anna Delvey. She can go from Madonna to Twiggy at the drop of an eyelash. The girl’s got range, is what we’re trying to say here.

What a lot of people don’t quite get about a good Twiggy homage is that the OG’s classic look was largely defined by how clean it was. This is a really good update that doesn’t feel like cosplay and it suits her perfectly. We are struggling to recalibrate our fashion settings to accept the fact that plain black pumps and slingbacks are the trendy option. We don’t hate it, but we always have to resist the urge to ask for some sparkle or color down there. Things shift. The pop-of-color option will be all the rage at some point.
Anyway, she looks adorable and we love the dress and styling, if that wasn’t already clear. Wisely (and by necessity, of course), her team made sure to get it lined and skip the tights.
