Hey, you guys. Here’s international pop songstress Rita Ora, stepping out in something demure and low-key, as is her way. HAHA. Just kidding. She’s Rita Ora! Loud and tacky is kind of her thing!

In the interests of full disclosure, we have to admit that we initially rolled our eyes at this look because it crosses our imaginary line where fashion goes from head-turning to attention-seeking. Because it’s such an arbitrary designation, everyone’s idea of where this line exists is different, of course. But we’re also firm believers in the idea that good style is about the right outfit on the right person at the right time. And while we can’t completely bring ourselves to love this look (mainly because the textile looks so cheap to our eyes), once we realized she was wearing it for Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, we changed our minds completely. Tacky it may be, but it’s perfect for the occasion.
