We’re on our second straight (you’ll pardon the term) day of virtual Golden Globes coverage and we don’t know, you guys. We’re starting to feel weirdly protective of the stars, even though we’re looking at pictures of them in tens of thousands of dollars of luxury goods; a sight that usually has us involuntarily sharpening our claws at the very least.

It’s just that there’s got to be something so incredibly odd about having to get this dressed up and made up just to sit on your couch in front of a laptop all night. Which is to say, we guess, that all of this weirdness just reaffirms how grateful we are to the stars for putting themselves through it. Not that it was done on our behalf or anything. They still all did it to pick up or hand out awards, after all. But there’s something appealing about the can-do attitude with which so many of them attacked the task.
Anyway, Nicole looks completely amazing here, but of course she does. She’s following our longest-running bit of advice for her. Black with sparkle is always going to be her best bet, style-wise. Her hair looks amazing.
