Darlings, it’s your first fashion vote of the New Year! We’re tossing this one out to y’all not because we find it hard to form an opinion on it. No, we’ll be very clear as to what we think about Miss Yara’s look.

We love it.

No, really.

It’s fun and youthful and modern, which are all things she should be looking for in her style choices. It hits that sweet spot of fresh weirdness that she’s really good at working. It’s extremely eye-catching on camera and absolutely loaded with personality. And yes, we really love the knee-socks and lace-up heels. It’s clearly not a look for everyone and we’d be hard-pressed coming up with an example of someone who could work it as well as she does, but that’s kind of the point. It’s SO her.

But fine. We know there will be outcry. Let’s hear it, kittens.
