It’s the newly christened, totally generic-sounding Actor Awards (FKA the SAG Awards)! There are many stops along the way during awards season, but the Actor Awards tend to be the moment when everybody—especially the Oscar nominees—really ramp up their red carpet game to much more formal and glamorous levels. We’d rate it in the top five of celebrity red carpets on the calendar each year, so let’s check out who aced the assignment and who missed the mark this time. In our slightly humble opinion, of course.

Sinners won the top film award Sunday night at 32nd annual Actor Awards (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards).
The movie’s cast took home the award for best performance by an ensemble in a film. In addition, Michael B. Jordan won for his leading role in Ryan Coogler’s film.
Also in the film categories, Jessie Buckley won best leading actress for Hamnet, while Sean Penn was named best supporting actor for his role in One Battle After Another. Amy Madigan won the supporting actress nod for Weapons.

Jordan, who stars as twins in Ryan Coogler’s Warner Bros. film, hugged his mother and took to the stage to accept the award. “I wasn’t expecting that. I’m so honored and privileged to be nominated in categories with people and actors and humans that I love, and I love their work and what they contribute to our craft and this rise has been unbelievable,” he said. So, thank you for welcoming me in and making me feel seen.”

After all, the most basic rules of #feminism are that we don’t need to rely on men for our own financially stable happily ever afters, right? Well, apparently, we have all started to become a little more open to the idea of a good old-fashioned Cinderella story of late.

Industry season 4 has come to an end — and that morally thorny finale, “Both, And,” is going to be rattling around in our heads for quite some time. One of the best seasons of the show so far, season 4 of HBO’s finance-world saga amped up the drama, the deception, the corporate-speak, the stress, and the moral ambiguity to the max. And, naturally, things ended with a very bleak bang.
This season has been something of a soft relaunch of the show. For day one of London Fashion Week, I wore an oversized tee (basically a dress) from independent Spanish label Reparto Studio. Hosted by Kristen Bell, the 2026 ceremony unfolded at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, where major stars (including Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, and Ariana Grande) duked it out for top honors from the SAG-AFTRA union — the largest industry collective in Hollywood, with around 160,000 members.
