Lizzo came to Late Night to sit uncomfortably in a total mistake of an outfit. Might as well be blunt about it, since you can all see the picture above.

This is so awful that we almost can’t believe anyone would let her walk out on set wearing it. Lizzo’s been open about her weight loss journey and we suspect she’s going through that thing that many people do when they lose significant amounts of weight: she has no idea how to dress her body now. When she first hit it big, she served up flawless diva moment after diva moment because she understood her own body then. Like, we get why you’d want to wear a corset at a time like this, but a stiff one is a terrible choice for a sit down interview and if you don’t ensure that the fit is perfect, you’re going to look like you’re busting out of it – literally. The way she’s perched on the edge of the seat through the whole interview just tells you that she can’t get comfortable and it’s affecting her confidence level. We can understand why she’d want to wear a wrap with it, but again, that’s a terrible choice for sitting in a chair. And finally, those gigantic pants don’t do a thing for the look and don’t flatter her. Literally every choice made here was a bad one for her.
