We gave those horny hocky dudes their own post, but it’s time to round up the queens, queers and allies who made their way to the GLAAD Media Awards and engage in the oldest of gay traditions: rating their outfits. Let’s go, rainbow people!
Bowen Yang

Gorgeous jacket. He was playing around a bit with gender presentation and silhouettes for awhile, and we wouldn’t suggest that he stop completely, but this sort of semi-conventional menswear really does look great on him.
Camila Mendes in Valentino

Well, it’s an interesting use of sheer, at least. We’ll give it that. But the color looks terrible on her and the beading looks like it was just thrown at the dress form.
Chris Perfetti

This is fantastic. We’ll never love giant satin bows in fashion, but if any guy wants to make the attempt, we’re duty bound to support it.
Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley

Boys, you had us until we got to the shoes. The suits are nice and we like the shirt choices for being a little fruity, but in both cases, our eyes go straight to your feet. Both looks needed more neutral footwear.
Jessica Betts and Niecy Nash-Betts

They never fail to look amazing together. That color is stunning on Niecy and of course the fit is fitting.
Jordan E. Cooper

We will not be arguing with any of that. We love that it takes a minute to clock that the pants are leather.
Karolina Wydra in Alberta Ferretti

The silver part is fantastic, but we don’t understand how that sad satin sheet relates to the rest of the design. It doesn’t even look like it’s attached.
Laverne Cox

Oh no. Not the pink hot pants, girl. The rest of the look is fabulous, but we just can’t sign off on those things.
Lisa Ann Walter in Maria Lucia Hohan

Great color, but that is way too much fringe for us. We’re having full-body shudders over here. What’s the fringe version of trypophobia?
Matt Rogers

Sorry, we want to be supportive of our fellow LGBTQs but that design is tacky and hell and it all looks like mall clothes. The grooming is perfect. It deserves a less tacky outfit.
Noah Schnapp

As always, the hair is terrible. We love the that tux — the color is gorgeous — but we don’t think it looks good with the shirt unbuttoned.
Quinta Brunson in Leo Lin

It’s a cute design, but we hate the fit and the jacket looks like it’s lacking a lining. Her makeup is gorgeous, though. And we love the rings.
Rhea Seehorn in Prabal Gurung

We love how unexpected her style choices tend to be, and how they have what we would call an intellectual vibe to them. She and her team clearly think about ways to stand out and be interesting. Having said that, we think this dress is overdesigned and discordant. We are horrified by the fringe.
Sheryl Lee Ralph

Gorgeous. A perfect party dress. Her hair looks fantastic.
