As evidenced by the above photo, One Battle After Another star Teyana Taylor did not come to The Late Show studios quietly. But then again, why would you ever have expected that she would? The lady doesn’t do half-measures in fashion, not even for a walking-in outfit.
Now that’s how you wear head-to-toe leather. If it doesn’t look effortless, if you can’t make it look like you’re sashaying in silk, it’s not gonna work. If you’d asked us, “T Lo, do you think there’s anyone in the world who could make a black leather cowl neck work for them,” we’re pretty sure we’d answer “Teyana” almost instantly. Of course the shades are a whole lot of fun, but the look really came to life under the studio lights:
On almost anyone else, that much leather coupled with jewelry pieces that large and focus-pulling would have been completely overwhelming. She’s so gorgeous and has so much force of personality, that it barely seems odd that she has ears on her hands. Schiaparelli should hand her a contract, if they haven’t already. She was born for this stuff.
