Kerry Washington, Elizabeth Moss and Kate Mara hit the step-and-repeat for Apple TV Press Day to promote their upcoming series Imperfect Women.
Kerry Washington in Hermès

That’s not particularly flattering to her. The area around the waist is simply too distracting and draws your eye straight to it. It’s also a strange look because it’s open and sleeveless on top but gets heavier and heavier as you go down. The bottom half of this outfit doesn’t look like it belongs with the top half. And finally, we hate gray leather. This would be infinitely better in black or brown.
Elisabeth Moss

That’s the sharpest look we’ve seen her wear in ages. The suit’s a little big on her, though. And we can’t help thinking the belt was an addition by the stylist because the jacket just doesn’t look like it was designed with that in mind.
Kate Mara

Meh. We’ve seen this look a thousand times.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, and starring and executive produced by Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington, IMPERFECT WOMEN examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women in a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.
The new psychological thriller is created for television by Annie Weisman, who also serves as showrunner, with an ensemble cast led by Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Zahn, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz and Wilson Bethel.
IMPERFECT WOMEN is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios. Weisman serves as showrunner, marking her latest collaboration with Apple TV following the critically acclaimed dramedy “Physical.” The limited series is executive produced by Moss and Lindsey McManus, who initially optioned the book via their production company, Love & Squalor Pictures. Washington executive produces for Simpson Street alongside Pilar Savone. Author Hall serves as executive producer along with writer Kay Oyegun. Lesli Linka Glatter serves as director and executive producer of the first episode.
