Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson to reprise Hunger Games roles for Sunrise on the Reaping prequel
The pair’s last franchise appearance was in 2015’s ‘Mockingjay: Part 2,’ the final installment of the original film series.
Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence are heading back to Panem.
The two stars will reprise their roles as Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen for the latest big-screen adaptation from Suzanne Collins’ hit Hunger Games book franchise, Sunrise on the Reaping.
The appearance will mark the first time either star has returned to the saga since they starred together in 2015’s Mockingjay – Part 2, the climactic installment of the original film series that ended with their characters married and with children.
Sunrise on the Reaping is a prequel set 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games, revisiting the world of Panem on the morning of the reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell — one of the deadliest games in Panem’s history.
Laser Facials Explained—Everything You Need To Know About One Of The Most Confusing Skin Treatments
Read this before you book in
I have worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years, and I’m going to be completely honest with you, I find the world of facial laser treatment incredibly confusing. There are so many brand names and laser types—all seeming to tackle different things. If you look at treatment menus, it sometimes feels like it’s written in a completely different language. If I find it discombobulating, then I can’t imagine how tricky this area of the industry must be to navigate if you don’t have the access that I do to dermatologists and aestheticians.
Cracked Cuticles Be Gone—Say Goodbye to Seasonal Dryness With One of the 8 Best Hand Creams
Skin saviours for every budget
With the chill well and truly setting in, there’s no time like the present to invest in one of the best hand creams. Yes, they’re fantastic for quenching dry, flaky skin, but they also play a crucial role in nail care and general self care too. So whether you suffer from chapped hands, dry cuticles, or simply want to pamper your skin, it’s worth having a luxurious hand cream at the ready.
I’m guilty of having a slightly indulgent facial skincare routine, but doing almost nothing to the rest of my body—and it’s beginning to show. I’ve noticed the dryness on my hands becoming more prevalent as temperatures drop, and decided its about time I pay as much attention to them as I do to my complexion. After all, they spend just as much time exposed and in the sun.
Cashmere Accessories That Make Wrapping Up Warm Instantly Stylish
From classic scarves and gloves to fashion-forward hoods and bandanas
I’m a summer girl through and through, and generally dread the onset of the winter weather. One of the few things that does excite me about the season, however, is the opportunity to wear cashmere—in all its forms, and as much as possible.
I’m talking cashmere trousers for lounging in, vests and t-shirts for layering, hoodies for working from home, and of course, classic cashmere jumpers for all-day, everyday wear. All of these items have become staples of my winter wardrobe, capable not only of keeping the chill at bay but also adding a touch of luxury to even the most casual ensembles.

Most of us have specific numbers that mean something special to us – for one reason or another. Well, numerology is exactly that: the study of numbers and their energetic influence in your life.
According to numerologists (people who practise numerology), numbers have a far deeper meaning than their numerical value and can offer insight on unique characteristics, future events and even your life purpose. We each have a ‘Life Number’ that can reveal a lot about who we are and why we’re here.

Stylish Christmas pyjamas you’ll actually want to wear
Can you tell if it’s nightwear or night-out wear?
I don’t know about you, but ever since I was a child, the first thing I would do when I got home from school was take off my uniform and slip into my comfy pyjamas. Decades later and it’s still a ritual of mine; whether I’ve spent the day in the office, an afternoon playing doting auntie, or been on a winter walk. My pyjama collection is eternally expanding, and right now, Christmas pyjamas take centre-stage.
There’s no denying that the festive sleepwear category – from pyjama sets to matching nightwear for the family (and your pets?), maternity nightwear, and cosy loungewear – has expanded rapidly over the decades. But as the options have evolved, so has our perception of it. Once upon a time, it was the ultimate fashion faux pas to be spotted in your Christmas pyjamas doing a last-minute supermarket dash for a midnight snack. Now, we actively style our Chrtistmas pyjama sets to wear out the house for daytime and evening events.
The 12 Best Perfumes To Try For 2025, Plus A Guide To Finding Your Signature Scent
From winter scents to just-landed aromas, discover the flacons that get the seal of approval from the ELLE UK beauty team.
As is the case with every category in the ever bulging beauty industry right now, finding the best perfume isn’t exactly a straightforward affair. Aside from the boundless scents to choose from, you have to consider olfactive categories, sillage, sustainability, suitability, among many other factors.
Those who have found their signature scent might be reluctant to venture into unknown territory, while others might go through flacons at a rate of knots unable to find the one that truly sticks. And for some, it’s a complete fluke when they do find the perfume that has people asking them ‘what are you wearing?’ on the tube (for me, that’s Diptyque’s L’Eau Papier). But there is in fact a learned art when it comes to finding your signature scent.
Butterfly Haircuts With Bangs Is The Soft, Layered Look Everyone Wants – 17 Ways To Wear It Now
The style works on every hair length.
Your winter wardrobe isn’t the only place to lean into fringe this season. Now that balmy, hair-sticking-to-skin weather has come and gone, you can comfortably try a hairstyle with bangs. One of the cooler fringe hairstyles that works on both short and long hair is the butterfly haircut with bangs.
The style is a hybrid of looks and somewhat of a 1970s throwback that’s been updated with a bang. Butterfly haircuts quite literally look like the wings of a butterfly, fanned out to frame the face. The look can be achieved through either a cut or with layered curls. While many iterations of the style have been seen on longer hair, it’s doable on hair that’s bob-length, too. Adding a straight, curly, or curtain bang modernises the style from the Farrah Fawcett version that popularised it.

Trad Wives Romanticize Motherhood—Two New Movies Make It a Horror Show
As online depictions of motherhood are increasingly idealized, fictionalized ones are swinging in the other direction.
At the climax of If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, a new movie from Mary Bronstein, Rose Byrne stands over her sleeping child in a cramped motel room. She plays Linda, a mom at her limits. Bathed in the red light of an IV machine, Linda pulls at her child’s feeding tube, urging her back to sleep when she stirs. Inch by inch, she tugs the tubing from the hole in her child’s stomach until it emerges with a squelch, covered in fluid. For a moment, the comedy-drama becomes a horror movie.
Mayday: The First Footage From Euphoria Season 3 Has Landed
Sam Levinson’s hallucinatory high school drama Euphoria was renewed for a third season back in 2022, though its future remained uncertain for some time. Now, however—several months after the new installment officially entered production—we have news on its release date. Season 3 is set to officially hit HBO in April 2026.
Menswear Is Entering Its Body-con Era
Last month, Stranger Things star Joe Keery—paging all fellow Steve Harrington fans!—attended the show’s Season 5 premiere in Hollywood. It was a splashy, star-studded, big-budget affair… yet all I could look at was the simple black T-shirt Keery wore on the red carpet. A month later, I’m still thinking about it.
Fitted extra-tight, the tee clung to his body like Saran Wrap, perfectly matching the one-size-too-small leather jacket and tight black straight-leg jeans he wore with it. But don’t mistake the look for some dry-cleaning mishap: It all came courtesy of Gucci’s spring 2026 collection, which served as designer Demna’s highly anticipated debut for the Italian house. The super-fitted silhouette, in other words, was entirely deliberate.

Our 2025 Drink Trend of the Year: The ‘Guilty Pleasure’ Cocktail
Cosmos, Lemon Drops, and Lychee Martinis are back, baby.
Cocktail history is a complex blend of societal trends, culinary advancements, and political and cultural shifts, with a generous dash of creative ingenuity. The story of the cocktail, more than 200 years in the making, reads like a tipsy game of telephone. Classic cocktail lore is rife with fuzzy origins and debatable attribution, passed down through generations of bartenders and drinks enthusiasts, some with questionable authority.
It wasn’t until the craft-cocktail revival of the early to mid-2000s that the stories behind the drinks finally took clearer shape. Modern classics were documented in real time, paired with a flood of think pieces about the burgeoning cocktail scene. As the craft behind the bar leveled up, bartenders helped define the contemporary cocktail renaissance. A new golden age of drinks had arrived.
With the Holidays Here, This Is How Much You Should Actually Be Tipping
A 100% tip would be lovely, but no one is expecting that.
Tipping fatigue is real. Everywhere we go we’re expected to leave a tip. From delis to fast food restaurants and from dry cleaners to grocery stores, we’re greeted with a cup telling us how much tips are appreciated. It is standard behavior to have a screen flipped in our direction so we can choose how much money to leave for someone who so far as we can tell, did very little for us.
Full-service restaurants are different. The people being tipped in those jobs are usually making far below the minimum wage and depend on the tips as their salary. The tips are claimed as income and are taxed, unlike so many others who plop a jar onto the counter at work and then could pocket the money, tax-free.

How Composer Max Richter Used Elizabethan-Era Instruments and a Women’s Choir to Shape ‘Hamnet’s’ Emotional Tone
Composer Max Richter turned to Elizabethan-era instruments and a women’s choir to help find “Hamnet‘s” emotional tone.
“Hamnet” is based on Maggie O’Farrell’s 2020 novel, and tells the story of William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) and his wife, Agnes (Jessie Buckley), as they grieve the loss of their 11-year-old son, Hamnet. The film follows the couple as they attempt to reconcile the loss of their child, and how William Shakespeare began to write his play “Hamlet.”
6 Dining Room Trends You Should Definitely Skip, Designers Say
Guests will notice these mistakes right away.
Dining rooms are having a moment. After years of quick meals at kitchen islands and takeout eaten on the couch, we’re returning to long dinners, candlelight, real conversation, and spaces designed for gathering. However, as this space comes back into focus, so do the trends—and while some are worthy of investment, others are better left behind.
The goal isn’t to chase what’s new, but to build a space that feels warm, functional, and reflective of the way you actually live. That might mean moodier lighting, textural linens, or a handcrafted table that will earn every scratch and memory. Maybe it’s simply editing out the pieces that no longer bring you joy.
Here, we spoke to experts about which dining room trends you should definitely skip—and what to embrace instead.

This Magical Italian Island Has Dramatic Landscapes, Hot Springs, and Scenic Vineyards
Here’s everything you need to know about planning a trip to Pantelleria, an island off the coast of Sicily.
Ask anyone who’s been there, and they’ll tell you there’s something magical about Pantelleria. This volcanic island in the Mediterranean is a satellite island of Sicily, but it’s technically closer to Tunisia than Europe. In the summer, its population swells as Italians flock to the island seeking sun and the chance to swim in the glistening azure sea and soak in the thermal hot springs. The lush landscape is characterized by Mediterranean scrub dotted with dammusi, traditional stone homes with white domes that date back to the period when the island was ruled by Arabs. Vineyards, caper vines, and olive trees produce prized wines, tasty buds, and quality oil.
