Some of the Not-Kids of Stranger Things put on their best grownup clothes and headed out to the Season 5 For Your Consideration event, which is a little odd because, with weeks to go before the premiere, there’s… y’know, nothing to consider. Anyway, let’s judge the aforementioned grownup clothes, shall we?
Jamie Campbell Bower

There’s nothing new about this style, nor does it make for the best sort of style for a red carpet, but he is flawlessly suited to it and he executes it like a master. Everything looks impeccable.
Caleb McLaughlin in Bode

Love that he’s taking risks and this look is loaded with style. Yes, the jacket looks like hotel wallpaper, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Millie Bobby Brown in Bronx and Banco

Her style is genuinely baffling to us. We have no problem with her working a sexy, lowcut sort of style, but this looks like a J Lo dress. There’s no youth to it. She always dressed precociously, and we think the period in her life when she was a 14-year-old dressed like a 30-year-old has seriously screwed up her style perception and her understanding of what’s right for her. Also, we hate the bow.
Noah Schnapp

This does nothing for him.
Gaten Matarazzo

This is simple, classic, and well put together. He looks comfortable and stylish. We’d have rec’d a showier pair of kicks.
Finn Wolfhard in Courrèges

Very chic. We’re glad to see him embrace these sorts of high fashion looks because he’s extremely well suited to them and we feared he was going to go the lazy or uglifying route after having been sexualized a little too early in his career and life.

They can’t wait for this to be over.
ABOUT THE SERIES:
A love letter to the ‘80s classic genre films that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is a thrilling drama set in the seemingly normal Midwestern town of Hawkins, Indiana. After a boy vanishes into thin air, his close-knit group of friends and family search for answers and are pulled into a high-stakes and deadly series of events. Beneath the surface of their ordinary town lurks an extraordinary supernatural mystery, along with top-secret government experiments and a dangerous gateway that connects our world to a powerful yet sinister realm. Friendships will be tested and lives will be altered as what they discover will change Hawkins and possibly the world — forever.
