Even though we’re writing this hours before our plane even takes off, by the time you’re reading it, the jet lag will have settled in, so we’re going with that excuse. Angela Bassett wore something dazzling to the LACMA Art + Film Gala and before we retire our coverage of it completely with a rundown, we figured we’d take a breather and let you decide on its quality.
She’s stunning, but we have two points to make. 1) Fringe, and 2) Chartreuse. Very tricky. There are other considerations to discuss, such as fit, styling and accessories choices, so you’ve got your work cut out for you. Get to it. We’ll be eating croissants while you do.
